| THIS I PRAY
All alone in my room, kneeling on the floor Father I come to You, like many times before. Praying for Your mercy, to hear my heart’s tears A lifetime of blessings to subside any fears. I pray for my children to be safe For them to know Your grace A protective wall in place Lord, for them to seek Your face Lord, for them to seek Your face. I ask for Your love to fill their souls To wield Your Word as a sword To know the Great “I AM” Lord help them understand. Lord help them understand. Alone in my room, kneeling on the floor Father I come to You, like many times before. Praying for Your mercy, to hear my heart’s tears A lifetime of blessings, to subside any fears. I ask for forgiveness to fill their minds To know good friends are hard to find Lord, Give sight when they seem blind And to always take the time. Lord, to always take the time. I ask for compassion in their stare To always know You’re there For peace to be their way To always take the time to pray. To always take the time to pray.
